Moooi

In 2001, the Dutch brand Moooi was founded by Marcel Wanders and Casper Vissers. The word "Mooi" means beautiful in Dutch. A third "o" is added to emphasize the word beauty.

According to entrepreneur Marcel Wanders: "We don't tell designers what to do, we listen to what designers want to do, we try to make their dreams come true".

Moooi produces bold, playful and timeless designs. Many products combine designs from the past with the freshness of modern times for a retro look, like the famous Dear Ingo chandelier by Ron Gilad.

The brand partners with renowned designers such as Arihiro Miyake, Bertjan Pot, Maarten Baas, Umut Yamac, Edward van Vliet, Joost van Bleiswijk, Studio Job and Nika Zupanc.
