Astep est le petit fils de Arteluce et le fils de Luceplan ! En effet le créateur de Astep est en faite le fils de Ricardo Sarfatti le créateur de Luceplan. Baigné depuis son enfance, Alessandro Sarfatti rejoint l'héritage de son père et de son grand père Gino Sarfatti !

Proposant des luminaires à l'esthétique et à la qualité à l'italienne, Astep propose des luminaires mélangeant un style italien traditionnel au style contemporain. Astep reprends des modèles iconiques de nombreux designers tels que Vittoriano Vigano, Alfredo Haberli et surtout Gino Sarfatti ! En effet, il existe une collection à son nom où de nombreux modèles ont été réédités pour lui rendre hommage.

Pour leurs prochains projets, ils souhaitent s'adapter de plus en plus aux nouvelles technologies tout en gardant leur empreinte. Leurs luminaires nous accompagnent donc vers le monde digitalisé tout en gardant un style à l'italienne !
