The publishing house Gubi reissues the Semi pendant lamp by Claus Bonderup and Torsten Thorup.

In 1968, these two designers, students in architecture school, design and design this pendant lamp in reaction to the "cozy" era dominating Denmark.

This elegant and sober lighting incorporates precise finishes. Its geometric shape will remind you of the tulip shape.

The chrome-colored aluminum shade offers a cone-shaped light, perfect for your dining room or kitchen.

This pendant lamp with a unique and timeless design is very recognized in the 80s. It was the best-selling Danish design, obtaining worldwide recognition.

Thanks to their creation, Semi, Claus Bonderup and Torsten Thorup won the first prize in a competition at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts Architecture.

The pendant lamp measures 47cm in diameter and 23,5cm in height. For optimal use, we recommend an LED light source, bulb E27 max 60W (not included).

The model is available in several colors and several sizes: 30cm and 60cm in diameter.
