Parentesi is a suspension imagined by Achille Castiglioni and Pio Manzù in 1971 for Italian brand Flos.

Parentesi is a suspension providing direct light, whose lamp moves vertically via sliding of a painted or nickel-plated shaped steel tube on a ceiling-to-floor 4-meter long steel cable. The fixture head is made of injection-moulded black elastomer housing a switch.

Parentesi is available with a steel tube in four colours: white, nickel, black or red. Parentesi is also available in a dimmable version.

Parentesi is to be mounted on the ceiling. The bulb is not included (E27).
