Pendant light, 1965, green, brass, Ø46cm, H26cm - Gubi
Discover the 1965 pendant light, signed by Paavo Tynell for the Gubi publishing house.
The 1965 lamp was designed by Finnish designer Paavo Tynell in 1947. Like many of her best-known creations, she was made for the Finland House of New York, one of the most ambitious projects ever made to promote Finnish design.
The pendant light illustrates Tynell's taste for perforated brass, with its small holes forming discrete triangles allowing the light to filter. Frosted glass diffuser prevents glare.
The dimensions of the pendant light are 26 cm high and 46 cm in diameter. The cap is 11 cm in diameter and 6 cm in height. Bulbs are not included: max 3x46W Halogen, socket E27.
Available in black, green, white, burgundy and brass. The cable measures 3.8 m and is in color.
