Studio Italia Design, known both as a designer and as an Italian lighting brand, stands out for its iconic creations. The studio is behind the Sky-fall, A-Tube, Puzzle and Laser collections.
The design studio was founded in the 1950s by Angelo Tosetto. It has subsequently been run mainly by Andrea Tosetto, the second-generation designer in the Tosetto family. Studio Italia Design, now known as Lodes, is a family affair. Since 1950, the brand has had three generations of sons: Angelo, Andrea and now Massimo.
This workshop has made its mark on the Italian lighting market thanks to its artisanal manufacturing and assembly processes. Studio Italia Design uses quality materials such as mouth-blown glass from "Fornaci di Murano", stainless steel, copper and aluminum.
This brand and designer also produce LED lighting solutions. All "Made in Italy", Venice-based Studio Italia Design advocates local production using local materials.
Although Studio Italia Design emphasizes local production, this does not prevent it from collaborating with designers from different backgrounds and countries with international reputations to create exceptional pieces. In fact, it allows the expression of ideas thought up by the people working at Studio Italia Design, whether they be technicians, creators or simply connoisseurs of the lighting sector.
Studio Italia Design's success is also due to its ability to create bespoke designs, making it ideal for large-scale architectural projects.
