Jørn Utzon is one of the most significant Danish architects of the 20th century.
He is mostly known for designing the Sydney Opera House in the 1950s; it exemplifies Utzon’s organic concept of architecture and expressive sculptural style.
Ten years before, he created the Utzon Lamp. Inspired by his father’s naval engineering drawings of ships, the lamp has curves symbolic of ocean waves with the bulb much like the moon used to navigate ships.
The Utzon is an iconic & timeless lamp. Thanks to this, Andtradition, a Danish design brand, decided to reissue this classical light.
