Born in 1976 in Pontevedra, Isaac Piñeiro is a Spanish designer who graduated from the famous art school Mestre Mateo Santiago. Then, he continued his training with many professional designers such as Matali Crasset, Odoardo Foiravanti or even Huub Ubbens at the Polytechnic of Milan.
Following his multiple trainings, Isaac decides to embark on a new journey: the professional world. Passionate about the world of design, he founded the Nadadora graphic and design studio in with Cristina Alonso, where they carried out numerous lighting, graphic and furniture projects. Their work was based on rigor, honesty and simplicity, which allowed them to gain the confidence of many companies through the diversity and quality of each of their products. The works are then promoted in numerous Spanish and international media, which allows them to generate a broad media visibility in the world of lighting and furniture.
Independent in nature, he wanted to develop his own projects with his name, it was then that he came up with the idea of creating Isaac Piñeiro Design Studio in 2017. His mission was to highlight the search for efficiency, the intuitiveness and the simplicity in the design of his products.
Isaac Piñeiro receives many international design recognitions, his work is exhibited in various museums, fairs and international media. He also won the 2017 Best of the Year award for an interior design magazine for his Tortura seating collection.
Due to his work, he collaborates with many brands such as Lavandera, Sagen Ceramics or Serralunga. The most applauded products are the Elephant poufs forming rectangular poufs with rounded edges, the Totana pendant lamp and the Tortuga range.
