Francisco Gomez Paz

Born in 1975 in Salta in Argentina, Francisco Gomez Paz has been graduated of an Industrial Design degree at the Universidad Nacional de Cordoba. He moves in 1998 to Milan and get a Master in Design at Domus Academy.

In 2004, he opens his own design studio and is collaborating with famous design companies such as Artemide, Driade, Danese, Lensvelt, Luceplan, Olivetti or Sector.

His curiosity, technological and material knowledge and a highly experimental hands-on creative process allow him to have his own approach and create very specific projects.

World-renowned, Francisco received several awards: The Good Design Award (2010), the Red Dot Award for the Hope chandelier and Mesh pendant light (2010 and 2016), the Index Award in collaboration with Alberto Meda for the Solar Bottle. In 2011, he received the Prize of Prizes to Innovation in Design by the Italian President Giorgio Napolitano for the Hope chandelier and the famous Compasso d’Oro.

His creations have been presented during international events and published by famous design publications.
