Emiliana Design Studio was created by two Spanish designers Ana Mir and Emili Padrós in the 1990s. They both graduated in MA in Industrial Design from the Central Saint Martins School of Arts and Design in London in 1994. They specialize in research into materials, objects and spaces while combining functionality and aesthetics in their design.
They collaborate with many different brands and fields such as the Spanish house Vibia with the June lighting collection or the famous ready-to-wear brand Comme des Garçons.
They have since won numerous awards such as the Barcelona City Award in the Design in 1999 and the First Prize Christmas Lighting Competition in 2014. And they have exhibited in cities around the world such as New York, Tokyo, and Sydney.
