Annebet Philps was born on 15 April 1981 in Gorinchem, the Netherlands.
She studied industrial design at the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands, where she graduated with honours in 2007. Today she still lives and works in the Netherlands, in Amsterdam.
Annebeth has worked in various fields of design, including fashion, product and conceptual design.
In parallel, she has pursued her own design projects. In 2012 she set up her own design studio. At first glance, Annebeth's designs can be characterised by bold shapes, humour and graphic elements. On closer inspection, however, one actually discovers playful objects that hide a real reflection on the concept.
Her work is known for its bold shapes but also for the bright colours and contrast between black and white, the clear lines and the firm hand-drawn strokes. Designs that bring out the extra in the ordinary!
She was able to work with the brand Seletti, notably on the Cut 'N Paste collection.
