      Created in 2012 by two young German design addicts, Julia Mülling and Niklas Jessen, the design studio Schneid (meaning bold) has a philosophy of simplicity in their creations.

      Simplicity in the use of natural raw materials and products made of wood from durably managed forests.

      Schneid was rewarded the Green Product Award in 2014 for the Zappy light.

      Their designs and range of colours create a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The trademark of the designers is the perfect alliance of wood (Oak, Bamboo, Birch, etc) with other materials.

      Every Schneid product is made in Northern Germany, where the wood is selected and cut.
