Marco Merendi was born in Faenza on May 2, 1968. He graduated in Architecture at the Faculty of Architecture of Florence in 1996. After graduating, he moved to Amsterdam where he collaborated with the studio 'LITE: daglicht / kunstlicht adviezen', dealing with the realization of luminous objects and the illuminotechnical design of large spaces.
Currently he lives and works in Milan where his research and interests are continuously shifting from architecture to design and communication. The keywords of his work are: passion, experimentation and magic. He defines himself as "an architect with a passion for design". He teaches at the Polytechnic School of Design (SPD) in Milan.
