Artist at heart, Julien Mauviel started out in music. With his rock group, he toured all over France and Belgium, an exceptional experience that allowed him to meet many people along the way. In 2013, he set up Lampari with the objective of creating unique gifts for the woman with whom he shared his life. He then moved his workshop to an old industrial building in Marseille. Infused with his musical passion, he designs functional lamps that marry the coldness of steel and the warmth of oak wood. His friend Julien Babin has become his associate and together they are reinventing Lampari, producing a range of handmade lights in collaboration with big brands, fabricated only in France.
