Chris Hardy

Chris Hardy is an American industrial designer based in Atlanta. Educated in design, he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the College of Creative Studies and a Masters of Design from the School of Design at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. After returning to the United States in 2009, he began his career as a freelance designer collaborating with companies in both industrial and graphic design. For FontanaArte, he designed the Wig hanging lamp, presented at Euroluce 2011. Its diffuser is made of an arrangement of curved petals in glossy white painted metal and recalls the shape of a wig, hence the name.
