Wastberg

Wästberg is a Swedish brand that produces luminaires with a functional and flexible design to offer simple lighting solutions for home and office spaces.

Wästberg was founded by Magnus Wästberg in 2008 in Helsingborg, southern Sweden, with a clear idea of what light should be. Magnus Wästberg wants to create an innovative overall solution to combine soft general light with direct lighting to be placed over desks and flat surfaces. The goal is to replace uniform and cold lighting atmospheres with warm, diffuse atmospheres complemented by beautiful and functional lighting.

Wästberg believes in lighting that meets basic human needs. Technology and innovation are at the heart of their business and are essential to providing good lighting. However, they are aware that what is technically possible is not always preferable from a human perspective. For them, true innovation is about making the effort to find the best solutions, putting as much effort into the measurable as the immeasurable.

Wästberg lamps have already been honored with more than 20 international awards for design excellence and are now sold worldwide.
