Founded in 2015 in London by three friends, Josh, Max and William, who shared their years of study at Edinburgh University, Tala Lighting was born of their shared passion for design, technology and sustainability. Convinced that the preservation of the environment and the pursuit of beauty can coexist, they decided to take an innovative approach to LED lighting, pushing the boundaries to create luminaires that are both aesthetically pleasing and environmentally friendly.

At Tala, responsible design is at the heart of their creative process. Collections are created in London, carefully crafted in the brand's studio and lighting laboratory. This local approach underlines Tala's commitment to quality and sustainability, with a keen eye on the environmental impact of each creation. The brand is B Corp certified with a score of 89.7 points in their first B impact assessment, making Tala the sixth UK-based lighting company to join the B Corp community.
