The English brand Sowden was created by George Sowden in 2010.

In 2010, Sowden offers a variety of kitchen objects, including the famous SoftBrew, a unique coffee machine.
Ten years later, Sowden Light, the brand's latest extension, presents SHADES, a collection of lamps with multiple configuration possibilities, ranging from pendant lamps, table lamps, floor lamps to cordless lamps. The idea took shape during a project in which the designer discovered the ability and potential of diffusing light through silicone. This material distinguishes lamps, colors and proportions that diffuse a soft, comfortable light.
